Speaking of mail-in ballots, in Tioga County, officials with the Board of Elections in Wellsboro said they expect a lower turnout based on sending out around 1500 mail-in ballots. They mentioned that they were anticipating more.

In Bradford County, mail-ins were slightly higher with 2,700 issued and 2,000 received as of April 22, according to Renee Smithkors, director of the Bradford County board of elections.

Smithkors said she hopes people will come out and vote and practice their civic duty by voting on Tuesday.
