6-mile back-up by crash on I-81N in Roanoke Co. cleared

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – VDOT reports the six-mile back-up after a multi-vehicle crash on I-81N in Roanoke County has been cleared.

The northbound lane of traffic near mile marker 140 is now moving normally.

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Virginia Department of Transportation says there is currently a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 81 North near mile 140 in Roanoke County.

The left northbound lane and right shoulder are currently closed. Traffic is backed up around 6 miles. Drivers can expect delays until further notice.
