MANSFIELD, P.A. (WETM) – One of the NTL’s most skilled athletes has made his college plans known.

North Penn-Mansfield standout Karson Dominick announced his commitment to Lock Haven University basketball, on Tuesday. Dominick’s much anticipated announcement comes after banner seasons in basketball and football. The 6 foot 4 multi-tool player led the NTL in points per game for the 2nd straight season, averaging 24.6. Additionally, the standout senior finished with the 3rd most double-doubles (8) and the 5th best collection of non-shooting stats in the league. Following a banner season, Dominick closed his basketball career with 1,810 points, 207 assists, 607 rebounds, 112 steals, and 132, 3 pointers.

In addition to the impressive numbers, Dominick led the Tigers to plenty of success. The top scorer guided his team to a 17-8 overall record and the 2023 Josh Palmer Classic Regional Division 1 title, where he was named MVP. In 2022, North Penn-Mansfield won the NTL Large School crown with an unbeaten 10-0 record and finished runner up for the District IV Class 3A title. Dominick averaged a league leading 19.3 points per game, helping the Tigers to a 25-4 overall record that season.

On the football field, Dominick was just as efficient at quarterback as he was on the court. As one of the top play callers in the area, the 3-year starter used his size and strength to rack up a career 3,700 yards and 44 total touchdowns. The multi-sport athlete also had an impressive career on the baseball diamond.

Dominick will now take his basketball prowess to Lock Haven, joining a program on the rise. The Bald Eagles went 21-8 this season, reaching the PSAC Tournament Final Four.
