North Myrtle Beach restaurant throws Easter bash for hundreds of children

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A North Myrtle Beach restaurant big on fun, food and music hopped up their game on Easter, thrilling hundreds of children with an egg dash across their sandy playground.

Nearly 500 kids attended the popular event at Lulu’s Cafe to collect brightly colored eggs and meet with the Easter bunny.

Ashton Hildreth, Lulu’s director of operations, said the annual Easter Egg Dash is one of its signature events.

“It’s great to see the community come out and support us. We have people that return year after year after year. I spoke with a young lady and she was like, ‘we are not even from here, but we come into town just for your events,'” Hildreth said.

Lulu’s said they plan to keep the event going every Easter Sunday.
