North Las Vegas police look for person of interest in shooting that left man, baby hospitalized

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in a North Las Vegas shooting that left a man and a 9-month-old infant hospitalized last week.

According to the North Las Vegas Police Department, the person of interest was last seen wearing a dark-colored hoodie, gray sweatpants, and white Crocs.

Police said the person of interest is believed to be involved in an incident that resulted in two people, a man in his 30s and a 9-month-old, being shot. Police said both victims suffered from non-life-threatening injuries.

Man, baby hospitalized after shooting in North Las Vegas

Detectives believe the shooting started as a package theft. The incident occurred in the 2500 block of Bulloch Street near East Carey Avenue and North 5th Street at about 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22.
