Is this why Trump wants one?
Wouldn't even be a big deal if the controlled media didn't decide to make a big deal out of it...
B.Clinton should be in prison for funding N.Korea , the same for obama for funding IRAN , BOTH are sworn enemies of the US .. Now it’s left to Trump of all people to clean up their mess .. Peace through Strength works best , but we may have passed that stage at this point , guess we’ll see !
Seems to me there are two options. Let any country develop nukes and then allow them to force us to deal with them, or send the world a message. Sometimes there has to be short term loss (of life) for long term gain. What are we supposed to do...sit back and respond to an ICBM from North Korea? Or take preemptive action?
So! we put a car in outer space, A car! in! outer space!
It looks like as many people show up to see the North Korean parade as they do to Trump's inauguration.
Considering how the US has devestated the Middle East and South America, every country should have the right to protect itself from foreign aggression.
Many countries are tired of USA provocations, foreign interferences and abuses. In a pacific way to deter this terrorist nation, without going at war, many of those opposing USA “management” of the existing order have had to innovate a strategy for thwarting a state with the world’s strongest military, greatest geopolitical reach and most robust economy. Given that every strength is at the same time a weakness in different circumstances, we should be unsurprised that USA. Adversaries have been reluctant to challenge the United States where it is strong. One way of doing this, many USA adversaries have worked tirelessly to identify and exploit US. Vulnerabilities; and to innovate new ways to coerce without provoking an armed response (e.g. Russian strategy in Ukraine, now referred to most often as “hybrid” or “grey zone” warfare, USA and NATO are being humiliated like sitting ducks), Russian might show in Syria, north Korea nukes that hamper USA force and citizens from sleeping as their brains are strongly batteried to thinking about Russian military might and north Korea nukes. What has emerged in the 2010s is a world in which Steven Pinker’s (2011) argument that ‘the world is less violent now than at any time in history’ is both true, and at the same time less relevant: as China’s ongoing transfer of trillions of dollars of intellectual property value from the United States (much by cyber intrusion, and much by forcing U.S. corporations seeking to manufacture in China to choose between short-term profits and long-term corporate and U.S. interests); and Russia’s overwhelming success in interfering with Britain’s referendum on EU membership (BREXIT ) and the U.S. presidential election in 2016 highlight, states are capable of doing each other MASSIVE HARM without crossing the traditional ‘act of war’ threshold; without killing.
