North Jersey traffic - Dan + Shay at Prudential, GWB construction, road work on I-80, 287

Dan + Shay and Chris Tomlin perform at the Prudential Center on Friday and next Thursday, respectively. The Devils have a home game on Monday.

Scheduled construction, road maintenance, utility work, road work and drainage improvement will cause daytime lane closures on the George Washington Bridge; interstates 80 and 287; U.S. highways 1&9, 46 and 206; and state routes 4, 17, 20, 23 and 440.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation is repairing potholes statewide. Motorists can expect to see crews repairing roadways at any time during the day.

At Red Bull Arena, the New York Red Bulls have a home game on Saturday and NJ/NY Gotham plays on Sunday.

The Jersey City Marathon will close several local roads on Sunday.

Bergen County traffic

  • In eastern Bergen, there may be minor flooding on roads and low lying properties near the waterfront and shoreline.

  • Construction on Route 4 closes two lanes in both directions between Hackensack Avenue in Hackensack and River Road in Teaneck, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 12.

  • Construction on the George Washington Bridge upper level eastbound closes the right lane, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 12.

  • On Route 9W southbound, the right lane will be closed for construction on between routes 1&9 and 46/I-95 in Fort Lee and Hollywood Avenue in Englewood Cliffs, 9 p.m. April 12 to 6 a.m. through April 13.

  • Utility work will close portions of local roads in Tenafly, Bergenfield and Englewood on April 12.

  • Road maintenance operations on Route 17 northbound closes the left lane between Summit Avenue in Hackensack and I-80 in Lodi, 6 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 13.

Essex County traffic

  • Construction on Route 23 closes the right lane in both directions near Bloomfield Avenue in Verona, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 12.

  • Dan + Shay bring their Heartbreak On The Map Tour to the Prudential Center on April 12. The New Jersey Devils are home to play the New York Islanders on April 15. Chris Tomlin's Holy Forever World Tour comes to the arena on April 18. All events start at 7 p.m.

  • Road work on I-280 westbound will close the left lane between exits 15 and 13 in Newark, 11 p.m. April 12 to 6 p.m. April 13.

Hudson County traffic

  • There may be minor flooding on roads and low lying properties near the waterfront and shoreline.

  • Utility work on Route 440 closes the right lane in both directions between Route 185 in Jersey City and W. 63rd Street in Bayonne, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 12.

  • Construction on Truck Route 1&9 closes the southbound right lane between Route 440 in Jersey City and the Hackensack River Drawbridge, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 12. On Tonnelle Avenue near Route 3 in North Bergen, road work will close one lane in both directions, 10 p.m. April 12 to 6 a.m. April 13; and line striping will close the southbound right lane, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., April 15 through April 18.

  • On Route 3 westbound, construction, installation of conduits and bridge work will close up to two lanes between the New Jersey Turnpike in Secaucus and Paterson Plank Road in East Rutherford, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through April 13, and April 15 through April 20.

  • At Red Bull Arena in Harrison, the New York Red Bulls take on the Chicago Fire FC at 7:30 p.m. April 13, and the NJ/NY Gotham FC face the Kansas City Current at 6 p.m. April 14.

  • The Jersey City Marathon and Half Marathon on April 14 will close portions of 9th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 16th, 18th, Brunswick, Coles, Grand, Greene, Grove, Monmouth, Phillip and Washington streets; Garfield, Johnston, Linden, Manila, Neptune, Pacific, Princeton avenues; Burma and Caven Point roads; Christopher Columbus and Morris Pesin drives; and Marin and Washington boulevards.

Morris County traffic

  • Road work on I-287 closes one lane northbound near exit 37 in Morris, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 12.

  • Construction on Route 46 closes one lane in both directions between Main Street in Rockaway and I-80 in Denville, and near Beverwyck Road in Parsippany, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 12.

  • Road work on I-80 close one lane eastbound near exit 30 in Mount Arlington and Roxbury, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 12; and eastbound near exit 34 in Wharton, Jefferson and Rockaway, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 16.

  • Signal repair on Route 206 will close one lane in both directions near Flanders Netcong Road in Mount Olive, 8 p.m. April 12 to 3 a.m. April 13.

Passaic County traffic

  • Drainage improvements on Route 23 closes the right lane northbound near Paterson Hamburg Turnpike in West Milford, and in both directions near Route 202 in Wayne, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 12.

  • On Route 20, construction closes the left lane in both directions between 21st Avenue and E. 30th Street, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 12.

  • Drainage improvements and utility work on Route 46 will close all lanes intermittently in both directions between the Garden State Parkway and Piaget Avenue in Clifton, 9 p.m. April 12 to 6 a.m. April 13.

Sussex County traffic

  • Construction on Route 206 closes the northbound right lane near Newton Avenue in Frankford, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 12.

  • Construction on Route 94 will close all southbound lanes near Route 206 in Newton, 8 p.m. April 12 to 5:30 a.m. April 13.
