North Carolina woman found unresponsive in car after shots fired into it, police say

LAURINBURG, N.C. (WBTW) — A Fayetteville woman is in the hospital with critical injuries after police found her unresponsive inside a vehicle on Thursday night.

Authorities said the 37-year-old was traveling on Wagram Street when multiple shots were fired into her car about 10:15 p.m.

No further information was available, but officials say the incident remains under investigation.
