Norfolk to expand parking in Neon District ahead of Streetscape Project

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The City of Norfolk is adding new parking to the Neon District in preparation for the Streetscape Project.

Over 40 new spaces will be added and existing on-street parking spaces on Virginia Beach Boulevard, Monticello Avenue and E. Wilson Avenue will be restriped.

Additionally, the current signs will be replaced with new signs. Parking spaces will be available for free two-hour parking Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and there is no time limit at night and on Sundays.
