NOPD searching high and low for chandelier theft suspects

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is looking for a pair of suspects who are accused of stealing chandeliers from a warehouse in the Little Woods area. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.

According to police, the crime happened about 7:20 on the night of Sunday, March 17, in the 7100 block of Bundy Road. The NOPD also released some surveillance footage of the suspects as well as the truck they’re accused of using to haul away the stolen items.

One of the men was wearing gray shorts, a dark colored shirt and a gray cap. The other wore jeans, a sleeveless shirt and a dark cap. The truck, according to police, was blue, perhaps a Chevy S-10.

A manager at the business told WGNO News that other items were also stolen. And while workers were still trying to inventory the losses, they expect the total value of the items stolen to be in the $14k range.
