Asbury University President Kevin Brown announced the last public service will be held Sunday evening.

A two-week, nonstop religious gathering at a Christian university in Kentucky that captured international attention will soon come to a close, at least at its current location.

In a statement posted to social media, Asbury University President Kevin Brown announced the last evening public service will be held Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. Public worship will continue in the afternoons through Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 2 p.m. each day. Then, it will move to a structured schedule that limits visitors to young people until Friday, when services will move away from the university.

“As we enter the third week of this renewal movement, our desire is to be faithful to our mission as a student-centric Christian university," Brown said. "Further, we believe that the continued flourishing of such a movement invites us to commission our Asbury community, visiting students, and other campus guests from across the world to neighbor-serving, God-honoring work."

The revival started Feb. 8 and hasn't stopped since. People have traveled from across the globe to Asbury's campus in Wilmore, a town about 17 miles outside of Lexington.

The final services at the university will be held in the afternoons Monday through Friday, and only high schoolers and those under 25 will be allowed in.

The university has not announced a new location for the ongoing event.

You can find the full schedule, service guidelines and a link to the livestream on the university's website.
