Nonprofit to host Pensacola relay for Memorial May campaign

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Carry the Load, a nonprofit organization that “works to bring all Americans together to participate in honoring our nation’s heroes every day” is getting ready to bring its Memorial May campaign to Pensacola, according to a release.

The nonprofit’s May campaign, called National Relay, spans 20,000 miles, 48 states, and 69 community events and “provides active ways to connect Americans to the sacrifices of our military, veterans, first responders, and their families,” the release said.

The relay is set to come to Pensacola for the East Coast leg of the relay tomorrow, May 21, according to the release. Below is a full schedule for Pensacola:
