Nokia ad bashes iPhone 5 for being ‘boring,’ promotes Lumia 920′s colors [video]

Nokia Lumia 920 will only be an AT&T exclusive for six months

Samsung (005930) isn’t the only company attacking Apple’s (AAPL) new iPhone 5 for being “boring and disappointing.” Nokia (NOK) has hopped on the same bandwagon with a new online video that slams Apple fans for waiting hours in line for the iPhone 5 only to have two colors to choose from. The video suggests that the iPhone 5′s lack of color options is a huge black mark on the device, while claiming Nokia’s upcoming Windows Phone 8-based Lumia 920 is the best alternative because it does come in a variety of rainbow colors. The online video is part of Nokia’s “switch” campaign to sway users way from iOS and Android. Nokia’s video follows below.

In many ways, the online video is a humorous stab at Apple’s famous “1984″ Super Bowl ad for the original Macintosh. Only this time, instead of Apple being the raging rebel against Big Brother’s monotonous army, Nokia is the underdog.
