No one was hurt in a house fire in Two Rivers Thursday night, but it caused an estimated $150K in damages.

TWO RIVERS — A resident and their pet safely escaped a house fire at 2512 44th St. on Thursday night, but the blaze resulted in an estimated $150,000 in damages.

Two Rivers Fire Department said crews responded to the home around 9:30 p.m. and when they arrived, they saw black smoke coming from a first-floor bedroom.

Everyone was able to safely exit the structure, the department said, and no one was hurt, but the building and its contents sustained major fire and smoke damage.

The Manitowoc Fire Department, Mishicot Fire Department, town of Two Rivers Fire Department and Two Rivers Police Department also responded to the blaze.

Two Rivers Fire Department said the fire is under investigation.
