No more tension between Maja, Erich
All is well between “Kapamilya” stars Maja Salvador and Erich Gonzales. They may not be too close as friends for now, but the two are talking and are civil with each other as what Maja said in clearing the rumoured rift between her and Erich.
“Magkaibigan naman kami pero hindi kami yung tipong lumalabas. Kumbaga, civil,” Maja said in an interview with Showbiz News Ngayon (SNN) on Wednesday, June 22. Maja was rumoured to have a rift with Erich and her group of friends from showbiz called “Chiurigogobaschu.” Kim, who is part of “Chiurigogobaschu,” is also said to be hanging out more with her new friends Maja and Angelica Panganiban. But, according to Maja, they are all okay.
Maja admitted there was tension between her and Erich due to hearsay and gossip. “Kunwari si Francis binulungan ako sabi ni Erich ganito, si Tita Julie binulungan si Maja, sabi ni Erich ganito, yung mga ganyan. So, pag nagkikita kami, hindi naman alam kung mag-uusap kami, kung sino magbi-break ng ice,” Maja added.
Breaking the wall
However, the young actresses finally broke the wall between them during their Star Magic tour in the US last April. “Kasi nung nag-States kami, isang dressing room kami, doon lang nag-umpisa na magchikahan,” Maja said. In her previous interviews, she said that she was able to bond more with Erich and Kim during their US tour.
Maja wishes for an end to this issue because they are now okay with each other. “Okay na kaming lahat, so magmove-on na tayo. Okay kami nila Erich, nila Melissa, pati nila Kim,” Maja said. Maja and Erich are now in constant communication since their US tour.
On her friendship with Erich, Maja said she is taking things one step at a time in getting to know each other more, also to avoid rumors that they are just faking it. “Sabihin mong close friends, siguro papunta kami doon. Dahan-dahan lang muna. Kasi pag nagsama-sama kami bigla, sabihin ay nagplaplastikan lang yang mga ganyan,” Maja added.
Not yet a couple
Meanwhile, Maja clarified the status of her relationship with Matteo Guidicelli, saying that they’re not yet officially a couple, as she is busy with her work. “Hindi, hindi pa kami. Kung siya maraming priorities, mas marami pa siguro ako. Kaya siguro hindi pa ako sumasagot kasi may mga trabaho na kami na kailangan naming alagaan,” Maja said. Matteo has been saying in interviews that Maja is special and an inspiration to him.
Maja also added that it is better that Matteo announce the status of their relationship, instead of her. “Pangit naman kung sasabihin natin na uy nangliligaw sa akin si Mateo, ako yung nag-aannounce. Hindi rin naman. Hayaan na natin na sya yung vocal, laging nagsasabi, lagging nagbabanggit ng pangalan ko kase sya yung ano,” Maja added.
