No jackpot winner: Powerball is more than $1 billion

(WJW) – Someone has to win eventually, right?

The Powerball jackpot has jumped to $1.09 billion ahead of Wednesday night’s drawing.

No ticket matched all six numbers drawn Monday night. The numbers were 19, 24, 40, 42, 56 and the Powerball was 23. The Power Play® multiplier was 2X.

Ticket sold in Ohio worth $25,000 a year for life

The $1.09 billion jackpot has a cash value of $527.3 million.

“It only takes one ticket to win,” said Drew Svitko, Powerball Product Group Chair and Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director.

While there was no jackpot winner Monday, more than 2.1 million tickets won cash prizes, according to Powerball lottery officials.

According to the lottery, the odds of winning a prize are 1 in 24.9.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.

The Powerball jackpot was last won on January 1, 2024.
