No injuries after vehicle crashes through Marco’s Pizza in Athens

ATHENS, Ala. (WHNT) — No one was injured after a vehicle crashed through the windows of a Marco’s Pizza Thursday morning, according to the Athens Police Department.

Police and the Athens Fire Department responded to a call at 11:44 a.m. after a vehicle crashed into the front of the business.

Police Chief Anthony Presnell said the driver’s foot slipped off the brake pedal onto the accelerator. No one was reported injured.
