ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — Albuquerque Fire Rescue (AFR) said there was a fire at a “single-family dwelling” on Monday.

According to AFR, firefighters were called to the 400 block of Utah Street just before 10 a.m. Crews saw fire conditions at the front of the house, and within three minutes, the fire was under control.

The structure was burned, and officials said no injuries were reported. AFR investigators determined the fire was accidental, and possibly from an unattended fire “related to homeless occupancy of an abandoned residence.”

The fire only damaged the building it came from, authorities said.
