NMDOT: Rio del Oso Bridge reopens

RIO ARRIBA COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico Department of Transportation reopened U.S. 84 in both directions at the bridge over the Rio del Oso Thursday morning.

Civil suit settled in shooting of Native American activist at protest of Spanish conquistador statue

NMDOT closed the bridge on Wednesday after an inspector found damage that compromised the integrity of the bridge, and they believe it was caused by a contractor during repairs.

NMDOT said the contractor repaired the damage.
