NM United loses 4-0 on the road Saturday
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico United didn’t have their best outing on Saturday, as they drop a 4-0 loss to Charleston Battery. NM United is now 1-1-1 on the season after the loss, and this marks the first game that they were held scoreless, and it is also the first game where they have given up more than one goal.
It was the home opener for Charleston and after taking a 1-nil lead at the half, the Battery went on to score 3-goals in the second half. NM United finished with just 6 total shots and 2 shots on goal.
NM United finishes up their 3-match road trip next Saturday, as they play rival Phoenix Rising FC on Saturday, March 30th at 8:30 p.m.
