NJ Transit service at Penn Station severely delayed due to overhead power issues

NEW YORK (PIX11) – NJ Transit service in and out of Penn Station was delayed by up to 30 minutes during the Thursday morning commute, according to officials.

The delays were due to overhead power issues near Secaucus, NJ Transit wrote on X. Service has since resumed as of noon on Thursday.

Train tickets were cross-honored by NJ Transit buses, private carriers, and PATH at Newark Penn Station, Hoboken and 33rd Street-N.Y.
