NJ man charged in Pocono Premium Outlets retail theft

POCONO TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— On Wednesday, the Pocono Township police arrested a New Jersey man they say was involved in a $3,500 retail theft.

On December 27, 2023, officers say they were called to the Express Outlet at Pocono Premium Outlets for a reported theft. Investigators spoke with the store manager who stated two Hispanic males had stolen shirts valued at around $3,500.

The manager reportedly told police they confronted the men in the store before they “hurried out the front door” and entered a Honda CRV with a New Jersey license plate.
