Former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley will appear on a CNN Republican Presidential Town Hall June 4 at 8 p.m.

CNN Anchor Jake Tapper will host the Iowa town. The audience will consist of voters who intend to pre-register in the Republican caucuses.

Haley, who has been a SC Gov. and U.N. Ambassador, was the first contender to jump into the presidential race after former President Donald Trump announced his intention to run. So far, she is the only female candidate in the race.

Haley, who is gearing to set herself apart from Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, is likely to face questions related to abortion access, term limits and competency tests. She is also likely to talk about US border and immigration policies.

The town hall's announcement comes days after fellow South Carolinian Sen. Tim Scott announced his intention to run for the White House in 2024.

Trump's CNN town hall took place in New Hampshire where he fielded questions related to election denialism, U.S. foreign policy and his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.
