Nicole Kidman Gets Her Very First Dog, Says She's 'Been Waiting My Whole Life For This!'
Nicole Kidman will finally know the joys of being a puppy parent!
The "Big Little Lies" star just got her first lovable, adorable, cuddly pooch and revealed the first photo on Wednesday.
Holding the puppy high in the sky, Kidman is clearly already in awe of the tiny, purse-sized pet.
This isn't just her first puppy, it's her first dog in her entire life!
She's been waiting for his moment for over 50 years, that's why this particular pup is so special.
"My first puppy... actually my first dog. Been waiting my whole life for this!" the 52-year-old star posted.
While she doesn't reveal the name of her tiny red poodle, she's used to caring for little ones. After all, Kidman's raised four kids.
And while she gave us a tease by sharing only one pic, Kidman's social media is lighting up with congratulatory comments from her A-list friends.
"So cute!" wrote Isla Fisher, while Katie Couric mirrored the "cute" response. Country singer Kimberly Schlapman replied, “You’re gonna have a friend for life!”
Fans are gushing over the pooch too!
"Nothing better. This little fluff ball will love you like no other," one follower wrote. "OMG enjoy! This is a special time," said another.
The second season of the HBO hit series "Big Little Lies" is currently being aired, so Kidman will have plenty of time to spend with her poodle before the ladies gear up for hopefully a season three.
But the star has a lot of other things on her plate at the moment, so she's got to teach her dog some new tricks STAT.
Kidman is currently filming the TV series, "The Undoing," as well as quickly heading into production for the triller "The Prom" and two more TV shows.
So, maybe her famous husband, Keith Urban, will be on puppy duty!
She joins other countless celebrities who are proud doggie owners.
