Niagara Falls man arrested in connection with Buffalo airport hit-and-run

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara Falls man was arrested in connection with a Feb. 27 hit-and-run involving a pedestrian on a Buffalo Niagara International Airport circulatory road, the NFTA announced Tuesday.

NFTA officials said Travis Rosario, 51, is facing a felony charge after he allegedly struck a 44-year-old Williamsville man who was walking away from the airport around 5 a.m. on Luiz F. Kahl Way. Rosario is then alleged to have fled the scene in a black Nissan Pathfinder.

The victim was hospitalized at ECMC with serious injuries and has since been released. He is now receiving treatment at a rehabilitation center, according to NFTA officials.

Rosario is scheduled to be arraigned in Cheektowaga court on March 28.
