Niagara Blower Co. adding 25 jobs in western NY in $5.4M expansion; NY supplies tax credits
TONAWANDA, N.Y. (AP) -- Niagara Blower Co. says it will add 25 jobs as part of a $5.4 million expansion.
Niagara Blower currently employs 130 people at its Tonawanda, N.Y. facility, where it makes industrial heat transfer and air conditioning systems.
Company officials say Thursday that they've bought and are renovating a 110,000-square-foot building on adjacent property. The expansion project will be helped by up to $800,000 in Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits from the state.
Niagara Blower was founded in 1904.
