NH's October revenues $9M above estimates

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire's revenues for October came in nearly $9 million above estimates, putting the state in the black for the year.

Taxes on business, tobacco, hotel room rentals and restaurant meals were above projections for the month. Liquor revenues were below estimates.

The state took in almost $116 million for the month and is $6 million — about 1 percent — above estimates for the fiscal year.
