Cammalleri started and finished the Devils’ big comeback against the Nashville Predators Saturday afternoon. Down 4-1 in the third period, Cammalleri scored the first of three New Jersey goals in the final 20 minutes and then put home the winner with 18 seconds left in overtime.

No. 2 Star: Chris Kreider, New York Rangers

Derek Stepan picked up three points, including assists on both of Kreider’s goals and Mats Zuccarello chipped in a pair of helpers himself. New York is now 8-0-1 after losses this season.

No. 3 Stars: Mike Condon, Ottawa Senators / Kari Lehtonen, Dallas Stars

Condon earned his second shutout in five starts since joining the Senators as Ottawa blanked the Florida Panthers 2-0. Erik Karlsson and Derick Brassard did all the damage with goals 19 seconds apart in the first period.

The Blackhawks needed to call on emergency backup goaltender Eric Semborski after Corey Crawford was unavailable. He wasn’t needed in the game as Scott Darling played all 60 minutes … The Pittsburgh Penguins scored four unanswered goals in the third period during a 5-3 comeback win over the Detroit Red Wings. Phil Kessel scored twice, including the tie-breaking goal midway through the final period … Prior to their game, the Penguins honored their Stanley Cup winning teams of 1991 and 1992:

Patrik Laine scored his 16th of the season and then set up Bryan Little for the overtime winner as the Winnipeg Jets downed the St. Louis Blues 3-2.

Brayden Point and Brian Boyle scored the shootout goals as the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Washington Capitals 2-1. Ben Bishop stopped 34 shots in regulation and overtime for his first win in four starts … Leon Draisaitl was the hero as his goal in overtime gave the Edmonton Oilers a 3-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks. Drake Caggiula scored his first NHL goal and Jordan Eberle had assists on all three Oilers goals.
