The Blues (29-7-5), who have won only five times this season when they gave up the first goal in a game, started the comeback 7:03 into the second period when Berglund deflected a shot by defenseman Barret Jackman past goalie Curtis McElhinney. It was Berglund's first two-goal effort of the season, having scored only four goals in 37 games before Saturday night. St. Louis goalie Brian Elliott won his 13th consecutive home game, extending his own franchise record. - - - Kings 3, Canucks 1 Winger Jeff Carter scored two goals and goaltender Jonathan Quick made 27 saves as the Los Angeles Kings beat the Vancouver Canucks 3-1. The Kings (26-13-4) broke a season-long five game losing streak as they opened a five-game home stand and gained ground on the San Jose Sharks. Goaltender Roberto Luongo stopped 45 shots and center Ryan Kesler scored the lone goal for Vancouver (23-13-7), which dropped its third straight game. - - - Bruins 4, Jets 1 Rookie defenseman Torey Krug scored two goals and set up another with a nifty pass to lead Boston to a 4-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets in the Bruins' first game of the second half of the season. Krug's goals tied him with Erik Karlsson of Ottawa and Shea Weber of Nashville for the league lead among defensemen on 10 goals. Left wing Jamie McGinn scored against his former team and defenseman Erik Johnson also scored for the Avalanche, who have won three successive games. Center Daniel Briere scored Montreal's first two goals and got his third point of the game with an assist on right winger Brian Gionta's tally 4:46 into the third that drew the Canadiens even at 3-3. - - - Panthers 5, Predators 4 (overtime) Veteran defenseman and team captain Ed Jovanovski played for the first time in over nine months as the Florida Panthers blew a two-goal third-period lead but then beat the Nashville Predators 5-4 in a shootout. Right winger Tomas Kopecky scored the decisive goal in the shootout. Leading 4-3 with 4:01 left in the third period, the Panthers killed off a two-minute penalty to left winger Tomas Fleischmann. The Predators then pulled their goaltender and center Paul Gaustad tied the game with 48 seconds left in regulation. - - - Flyers 5, Coyotes 3 Philadelphia forward Jakub Voracek scored his 10th goal of the season with eight minutes remaining in the third period to break a tie and the Flyers scored the final four goals for a 5-3 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes. The Flyers recorded their seventh victory in their last nine games. Phoenix forward Mikkel Boedker scored his career-high 12th goal for the Coyotes (20-12-9), whose 49 points are the third most at the midway point of the season since the franchise moved to Phoenix in 1996-97. Goaltender Steve Mason had 26 saves for Philadelphia (21-17-4). - - - Wild 5, Capitals 3 Defenseman Ryan Suter's first career hat trick was the difference as the Minnesota Wild rallied from a two-goal deficit to beat the Washington Capitals 5-3. Suter scored a pair of power-play goals in the second period and added a third goal in the final period as Minnesota (22-17-5) won its second game in a row. Right winger Nino Niederreiter and left winger Jason Zucker also scored for the Wild, who lost their final six games of 2013, but have not lost since flipping the calendar.
