Update: Pat Green and the Steve Helms Band have been added to the star-studded lineup for the inaugural "Troy Aikman’s Highway to Henryetta" music festival, organizers announced March 22.

Troy Aikman is looking to score big this summer with his hometown fans.

The Pro Football Hall of Famer and NFL broadcaster has revealed more of the lineup for his inaugural "Troy Aikman’s Highway to Henryetta" music festival, set for June 11 in Henryetta.

A 1984 Henryetta High School graduate, Aikman announced at an October pep rally at his alma mater that Tishomingo-based country music superstar Blake Shelton would be the headliner for the fest.

Now, the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback has thrown out the names of several other country music acts on the lineup to perform at the event.

“I am thrilled to have such an excellent lineup for ‘Highway to Henryetta,’” said Aikman in a statement. “It promises to be a fantastic day of music, family and friends. I can’t wait.”

Henryetta became Aikman’s hometown when he was in eighth grade and his family moved to Oklahoma from California. “Troy Aikman’s Highway to Henryetta” will benefit educational and community initiatives in the small Okmulgee County town, according to a news release.

“We’re looking forward to a fantastic day of music, family and friends while making a difference for the people of Henryetta. Everyone involved can’t wait,” Aikman said in a statement.

More than 10,000 people are expected to attend the daylong event in Henryetta’s Nichols Park. “Troy Aikman’s Highway to Henryetta” is being produced by Tony Fay Public Relations in conjunction with C3 Presents, the producer behind such events as Lollapalooza and the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
