NFL Podcaster Said Ciara Is Only With Russell Wilson For His Money

Channing Crowder had some choice words to describe Ciara and Russell Wilson’s relationship. According to the New York Post, the former Miami Dolphin said on his podcast, The Pivot, that the singer is only with Wilson for his money.

“If Russell didn’t have that bread Ciara wouldn’t be with him,” Crowder said in a clip of the episode circulating on social media on Twitter. “Ciara, she has a good situation, but you don’t leave Future for Russell Wilson.”

He doubled down on his sentiments as fellow hosts Fred Taylor and Ryan Clark made counter claims, saying that “women love peace.”

“It’s a type,” Crowder rebutted. “Everybody has a type… and I love him on the field but he’s f**king square.”

Twitter had all of the smoke for Crowder after his comments, Cassius Life reports.

“A lot of men can’t believe that women want nice men because then they’d have to confront why women don’t consider *them* to be a nice man,” a person said.

One user simply replied “meanwhile” along with a video of Ciara and Wilson at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. The steamy clip shows the Wilsons loved up and swaying to the music before the night’s festivities.

According to the New York Post, Wilson was traded to the Denver Bronco’s last month, though they haven’t discussed contract particulars. The quarterback signed a $140 million dollar deal with the Seahawks back in 2019. His base salary is expected to be $19 million dollars this year and $22 million in 2023.
