Curtis Jensen, a gingerbread aficionado dedicated to incredible feats of cookie construction, has taken on the titular country mansion from PBS's Downton Abbey. Using sheets of cookie, crushed-up butterscotch as glassy windows, and hours' worth of fastidious icing details, Jensen replicates the gothic resplendence of Highclere Castle, the estate in Hampshire, England, where the show's exterior shots are filmed. It may not have the bonkers candy details found in other other gingerbread creations—the gum-laden Carson Mansion created by an Ohio dentist, the massive White House—but the sugary rendition is impressive all the same.
