NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Which Louisiana festival promotes the cure of cancer? What town has some of the best strawberries? What two historically Black colleges have met in New Orleans since 1974? News With a Twist is back at the bar!

Tune in Friday, March 22nd at 6:30 p.m. on WGNO and 9 p.m. on WNOL.

What do you bring to your favorite festival?

We are teaming up with Where Y’at Magazine to bring you News with a Twist: Festivals. We are giving the spotlight to the festival and party culture of Louisiana. Everything from the Angola Prison Rodeo, Jazz Fest, to Festival International and beyond; gets a shoutout!

India weighs delaying caps on UPI market share in win for PhonePe, Google Pay
India’s mobile payments regulator is likely to extend the deadline for imposing market share caps on the popular UPI payments rail by one to two years, sources familiar with the matter told TechCrunch. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), a special unit of the Reserve Bank of India, plans to extend the deadline for introducing a 30% cap on the market share of individual UPI ecosystem participants, the sources said. The decision is expected to greatly benefit Google Pay and Walmart-owned PhonePe that currently dominate the market for UPI payments in the country.
