Newport News airport to get new airline service

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) — Allegiant Air announced Thursday that it will begin flying between Newport News-Williamsburg International Airport in Virginia and Orlando, Fla., in November.

The flights will have one-way fares of $64.99 and be offered four times per week.

Earlier this month, AirTran Airways announced it would eliminate service to the airport in March.
