Tisha Mozena of Newcomerstown was coaxed into going to Kidron on Saturday, March 10, by her husband, J.P.

“After buying the fencing needed, we decided to eat lunch around 12:30 p.m. at the Amish Door Restaurant in Wilmot," Tisha said. "We were seated next to the glass where we could see into the bakery, and I thought I know that tattoo, but I lost sight of the person. We then walked over to the adjacent market and there was David Bromstad of HGTV’s My Lottery Dream Home.

"I said to J.P. there he is, and he said is that someone you used to work with, and I laughed and said no he is on television. Anyone that watches the show is aware of David’s tattoo addiction and I do not know why it did not dawn on me in the restaurant it was David," she said.

The two made eye contact and exchanged pleasantries.. Tisha wanted to take a photo with David, but didn't want to bother him. So J.P. said to David, "My wife is a fan and watches your show, would you take a picture with her?”

David said, "Sure you hold my coffee and don’t drink any and I will take a selfie.”

Tisha said he used her phone to take their picture and he was so kind.

“It all caught me off guard, but it was a nice surprise to my Saturday afternoon. I am glad J.P. coaxed me to go now," Tisha laughed. "I watch 'My Lottery Dream Home' every time I get the chance."

According to Facebook posts around the Canton area, David was seen filming at some local eateries in that area. The show centers on home buyers who have either won the lottery or inherited a large sum of money. David, who hosts the show, meets them in the area they wish to live and lines up potential homes for them to view. At the end of the hour-long show, the family chooses one of the houses. David has filmed 15 seasons thus far and is promising more seasons to come according to his website.
