Benedict Cumberbatch appears as ‘Doctor Strange’ in a new official image…
The new image features a glimpse of Benedict Cumberbatch as ‘Doctor Strange’ – a talented (but egotistical) neurosurgeon whose career is cut short after a devastating accident.
And while we’ve already seen the good doctor in costume, it’s great to get a closer, more detailed look at those iconic robes.

‘Doctor Strange’ stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular hero… who eventually turns to the mystical arts as a cure for his injured hands. Instead, he finds a source of great power, studying under the tutelage of The Ancient one (played by Tilda Swinton).
And soon, he will become Earth’s Sorcerer Supreme…
Although filming for ‘Doctor Strange’ has just wrapped in New York, we’ve only recently gleamed a small glimpse of the action – in a series of set pictures which were snapped during the film shoot’s final days.
But this new official image gives us a much closer look at Doctor Strange’s rather detailed robes… and the impressive Eye of Agamotto amulet which hangs around his neck. And let’s face it – Benedict Cumberbatch really looks the part.
