Winners and losers

Stocks on the move lower today include Amgen, as the drugmaker’s revised forecast was below Street estimates; Amedisys as Mizuho downgraded the home health provider to neutral with a $50 price target; and Wynn Resorts, with investors cashing out of the casino operator as it reported more weakness in its Macau gaming business.

Stocks in the green today include AMD as the chipmaker gave strong current quarter and full year guidance on the back of strong demand; AT&T on an earnings and revenue beat as it revealed it expect to close the Time Warner deal by end of the year; and Boeing, with shares of the Dow component soaring after it boosted its full year forecast and saw its Dreamliner add $530 million in cash in the past quarter.
