Netflix expands streaming deal with Hasbro Studios
Netflix says Hasbro's 'Littlest Pet Shop' and 'Kaijudo' will be available for online streaming
NEW YORK (AP) -- Netflix Inc. said Thursday that it will stream two additional Hasbro shows as part of an expanded agreement with the company.
Netflix said subscribers can now watch "Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters" online, and starting this summer they can stream Hasbro's "Littlest Pet Shop." Netflix also streams some of Hasbro Studios' "My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic," ''Transformers Prime," and "Transformers Rescue Bots" series.
The companies did not disclose terms of the multi-year agreement.
Shares of Netflix rose $6.94, or 4.2 percent, to close at $173.01.
