Neglected Chihuahua gets a new sweater-filled wardrobe

Meet Blanche, a 14-year-old Chihuahua mix who was surrendered by her owner and suffering from neglect. The dog was underweight, had dental problems, and was missing most of her fur. Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue in California took her in and helped her heal. The nonprofit organization had mentioned on social media that Blanche could use some sweaters to keep warm. That’s when the pup’s fans, referred to as the “Mutt Militia,” went to work. They donated several garments, including hand-knitted sweaters that perfectly fit the senior pup. Blanche loved her new wardrobe and was quickly labeled a fashion diva. The cute pooch has now found a forever home. She was adopted before Christmas, and her new owner plans to keep growing her sweet sweater collection. Patricia Cook told the Dodo, “She has more clothing than I do.”
