NCIS: Hawai'i star Vanessa Lachey has responded to the show's cancellation, saying she felt "blindsided" by the decision.

Late last week, CBS confirmed that the NCIS spin-off would come to an end with the third season, which is currently airing in the US.

Following the news, Lachey, who plays Special Agent Jane Tennant, shared her thoughts with her followers on Instagram, admitting she was still "processing" the show's end.

In a follow-up Instagram Story, Lachey reflected on how the show axe was impacting her family, sharing a photo of her with her daughter Brooklyn Elisabeth wearing some home-crafted Mickey Mouse ears.
