These NC restaurants are some of the best seafood spots in America, Yelp says

If you’re a sucker for seafood, you may want to check out a few local spots that have been named some of the best in the country.

Yelp released a list of the top 100 seafood spots in America based on high ratings and reviews. Of all the fan-favorite spots from coast to coast, seven North Carolina restaurants made the list:

  • Topsail Steamer (Surf City, NC)

  • I Got Your Crabs (Kitty Hawk, NC)

  • Fish Bites Seafood Restaurant (Wilmington, NC)

  • Mama Easley’s (Corolla, NC)

  • Fin & Fino (Charlotte, NC)

  • The Kill Devil Grill (Kill Devil Hills, NC)

“From classic crab cakes and lobster rolls to unique ceviche tostadas and crab-topped fry bread, you’ll find all the best catches at these top seafood restaurants in America,” the report says. “The seafood experts on this year’s list take fish very seriously, consistently bringing diners the tastiest treats of the sea.”

Waterfront Seafood Shack (No. 48)

Waterfront Seafood Shack is a riverfront seafood restaurant and market with fresh seafood straight from the water. Along with grilled and fried seafood dishes and platters, the local restaurant also serves hot dogs, burgers, wings, fresh-baked desserts and more.

Topsail Steamer (No. 49)

I Got Your Crabs (No. 52)

I Got Your Crabs Shellfish Market & Oyster Bar is a family-owned restaurant known for its blue crabs. Run by a third-generation fisherman who crabs daily in the Currituck Sound, the local spot’s menu features a variety of seafood too, plus sandwiches, soups and tacos.

Fish Bites Fresh Market & Seafood Restaurant (No. 58)

Location: 6132 Carolina Beach Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412

Fish Bites Fresh Market & Seafood Restaurant prides itself for having “the largest selection of seafood in the area.” From classic seafood bites to creative dishes, the restaurant has a wide variety of fresh fish, including stuffed flounder, oyster bombs and maple salmon.

Mama Easley’s (No. 64)
