The winning numbers for Wednesday night's drawing were 24, 29, 44, 47 and 54, with a Powerball number of 2. The Power Play multiplier was x2.

Once again, no one matched all six numbers to win the Powerball jackpot. It was an unlucky day overall, with highest prizes of only two $200 wins for guessing four white balls with the Power Play multiplier.

How much is a Powerball lottery ticket?

The Mega Millions continued to rise after nobody matched all six numbers from Tuesday night's drawing. The current Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $178, or a cash payout option of $79.6.
