Nov 17 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Sunday's National Basketball Association games. - - Lakers 114, Pistons 99 Forward Jordan Hill had a career outing as the Los Angeles Lakers pounded the Detroit Pistons 114-99. Hill finished with 24 points and 17 rebounds as the Lakers (5-7) ended a two-game skid and handed the Pistons their fifth setback in the past six games. Hill's previous career-best points total was 21 against the New Orleans Pelicans on Nov. 12. Point guard Brandon Jennings led Detroit (3-6) with 23 points and 14 assists. Los Angeles closed out the third quarter on a 10-0 run for a 79-71 lead. The Lakers continued their tear in the fourth, building an 89-76 lead after a tip-in by Hill with about eight minutes remaining. - - - Trail Blazers 118, Raptors 110 (OT) Guard Damian Lillard scored seven of his 25 points in overtime and forward LaMarcus Aldridge also scored 25 with 11 rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Toronto Raptors in overtime to extend their winning streak to six games. Forward Rudy Gay's driving layup at the buzzer tied the game at 102 for the Raptors, who were down by 16 points in the fourth quarter. But Lillard took charge in overtime. Forward Nicolas Batum added 24 points for the Trail Blazers (8-2). Portland's win streak has taken them to the top of the Northwest Division. The Raptors (4-7) lost their second straight despite a fourth-quarter comeback along with 30 points and 10 rebounds from Gay. - - Grizzlies 97, Kings 86 Forward Zach Randolph scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, leading the Memphis Grizzlies to a victory over the Sacramento Kings. Center Marc Gasol and guard Mike Conley each added 19 points for Memphis, while guard Tony Allen scored 12. Forward Travis Outlaw led the Kings with 18 points off the bench, all in the second half. The Grizzlies (5-5), who swept the four-game series between the teams last season, beat the Kings for the fifth straight time. Kings (2-7) lost for the seventh time in their past eight games.
