Navas set for Citizens medical

Sevilla winger Jesus Navas is heading to Manchester City for a medical ahead of penning a deal with the Premier League club. The 27-year-old Spain international, who has spent his entire career with the Sevillistas, will link up with the Citizens in a deal reported to be close to £24million. A statement on Sevilla's official club website read: "Jesus Navas is leaving Sevilla FC bound for Manchester City. "Sevilla FC has accepted the offer of the English club, taking into account the will of the player, and he will undergo a medical.'' Navas spent two years at the now dissolved Los Palacios before joining Sevilla. He made over 30 appearances for the reserve side before his first team debut in 2003 and has gone on to play over 250 times in La Liga, winning the UEFA Cup in 2005/06 and 2006/07, the UEFA Super Cup, the Copa del Rey in 2006/07 and 2009/10 and the Supercopa de Espana. He was also a part of the Spain squads that won the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012.
