ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, Calif. (AP) _ Natural Health Trends Corp. (NHTC) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $5.6 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Rolling Hills Estates, California-based company said it had net income of 49 cents.

The direct selling company posted revenue of $41.6 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $31 million, or $2.74 per share. Revenue was reported as $191.9 million.

Natural Health Trends shares have decreased 24 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $14.11, a decline of 17 percent in the last 12 months.
