NATO countries provide 99% of all military aid to Ukraine, says Stoltenberg

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says that Russia pursues imperial ambitions, situation on the battlefield in Ukraine is difficult, but NATO member states provide 99% of all military aid to Ukraine, Georgia Online reported on March 18.

"It is vital that we step up our support,” the Secretary General said.

“NATO Allies provide 99 percent of the military assistance, and our partners also play an important role."

Stoltenberg welcomed the fact that Georgia is hosting thousands of Ukrainian refugees and providing significant humanitarian and financial assistance.

Earlier, it became known that the EU Foreign Affairs Council had finally approved a decision to allocate an additional $5.43 billion for military support to Ukraine under the European Peace Fund.
