National Police Week in the Arklamiss, SAU Tech partners with Reach University

CAMDEN, ARK. (KTVE/KARD) — We here at KTVE/KARD are celebrating National Police Week in the Aklamiss as we shine a light on our local officers. May 15th was designated as Peace Officers Memorial Day by President John F. Kennedy back in 1962. The week on which May 15th lies on eventually became Police Week. Our viewing area is filled with officers who fight crime and wrongdoers on a daily basis. Many gave their lives in the line of duty. Today we honor them by sharing their story. Law enforcement officers at the Camden Police Department are working to create a positive environment for the city and its citizens. For Officer Ashley Watts, that means setting good examples for people to follow.
