The Ukrainian National Guard recorded the third Russian Su-25 attack aircraft shot down by the Igla air defence system.

Details: On the night of 30 May, a serviceman of the National Guard shot down a Russian plane on the Zaporizhzhia front.

Updated: The National Guard has officially confirmed that their conscript with the call sign Bandit shot down the third Russian SU-25 Grach attack aircraft from the Igla MANPADS [Man-portable air-defence systems] the day before.

Quote: "The accuracy, professionalism and skillful actions of the ‘Zaporizhzhia Avenger’ are really frightening to the occupiers, judging by enemy’s radio interceptions.

"I shot down not three planes, as they say, but only three more planes, and I will destroy them for as long as necessary - until our victory!" - the National Guardsman confidently notes."

Background: On 23 May, it became known that in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, a serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine shot down the second Russian plane in a month - a Su-25 attack aircraft.
