Nashville NHL team surprises youth league with full stadium of fans [VIDEO]

As the professional hockey lockout continues, the Nashville Predators used their downtime to spread some joy, throwing a surprise packed-house-game for two youth hockey teams.

The team contacted a number of fans to come to a small ice rink where they were told they would be treated to a pizza party, Deadspin reports. But when the fans showed up, the real purpose was revealed: They were there to be fill the house to surprise the young players. The Predator’s announcer, band and cheerleaders were also in attendance.

In an interview afterward, one of the young players said, “I felt like a pro definitely. It was one of the single most, best experiences of my life.”
