NASCAR welcomes fans to 75th-anniversary celebration at Daytona International Speedway Friday


Race car fans start your engines and get ready for NASCAR’s Diamond Anniversary celebration.

NASCAR marks its 75th Anniversary this year, with a first-ever “NASCAR Day” taking place at the Daytona International Speedway. The family-friendly “Giveathon” event is Friday, May 19th from 4 pm -8 pm at Victory Circle at ONE DAYTONA.

Fans will have the opportunity to win prizes raffled off including NASCAR memorabilia, ticket packages, and gift certificates. Attendees will also be able to take pictures with the Daytona 500 trophy and Daytona International Speedway show car.

A total of 27 charities from Florida will be participating to raise funds for nonprofits across the country.

Along with entertainment, select ONE DAYTONA restaurants will offer family meal specials. NASCAR Day is a free event and is open to the public. Next Friday concludes the first-ever Giveathon NASCAR event.
